Well, duh.

Christian Louboutin prefers a woman to have some curve to her: "If you look at some women's legs, like Tina Turner or Serena Williams, they have those very sexy legs and the upper part is big. Most dancers, real dancers, have big upper legs, which I love. I never liked skinny legs."

Now I love him even more... throw in a pair of Louboutins and I'll worship at his cobbler feet.

Thanks.

Black Label by Bando

(Julie's buzz awesomeness just directed me to my new favorite accessories ever.)

(check out Bando's Blog!)

Neon and ticket stubs and rental rollerblades

I'm very very very behind in posting photos. I blame the lack of fbook, the weather, the government, and WWII. I blame everything but myself. There. Now I feel better.
As I didn't have my skates with me, but I DID have my camera, I ended up documenting the neon and coin-operated-ticket-distributing games (one day I WILL win that switchblade comb and kazoo) and making Katie B act as a pin-up girl for the majority of the frivolity.

I think I want to have my own nature show one day, with voice overs by some James Earl Jonesy type. . . but instead of nature, I'll document hip birthday parties... but only if I am allowed to attach wheels to my feet.

Something about Dinosaurs...

... Walked down the aisle to this song.

Pure and beautiful things are going to happen this week.

Procrastination

I should be writing my Literature Review.
I mean, I AM writing it.

I'm just taking a break to post a little something from said Lit Review, THAT I KNOW I'll probably have to cut due to the fact that I always ALWAYS over use irony and long lists in my Research Design papers:
"The average American person loves their television set almost as much as they love easy cheese, precocious children, angst ridden romantic songs (with sound bytes from popular movies played over the chorus), and/or tiny dogs that can balance a teacup on it’s nose. All of this pales in comparison to what an average American person truly, madly, and deeply loves. This passion is found in regard to reality TV."
And there you have it. A selection from my paper entitled "Dancing with the American Idol, Who Thinks They Can Dance."
I'm having more fun with this then I should.
I mean, WHO has fun in Graduate school?

The Fall 2010 Mix a la Nate

I recently sent out a plea for mixtapes from my friends on google buzz.
This is what I got back:
1. Jessica E's quote from a Brand New song (Brand New - Your Favorite Weapon - Mixed Tape).
2.Two great downloaded mixes from the Californian Chris Nielsen, Film Student, Sufjan Steven's Concert go-er (oh man, I TOTALLY saw you there), and my Personal Music Guru.
and finally 3. THE BELOW MIX from another musical guru/genius, my friend Nate H. Good show old boy (Please bless that you aren't tooooo mad that I put your awesome mix online... I mean, what if it's totally private and I just gave the entire 19 people who actually read my blog access to it?).
