I have always been fascinated with the
objects and memories that people, including myself, choose to hold on to. I feel as if there is some truth to learn
about a person from their memorabilia, but perhaps that is just the Nancy Drew
in me. I use this idea as a cheat sheet when getting to know a person: what
days one chooses to double circle on the calender, which text messages get saved and locked, Facebook’s “About Me”
section, and of course keepsakes, all are embedded with memories and emotion
that speaks to a specific and subtle knowledge of that person.
