Happy Birthday Bonnie Boo

May 26th- mark it, secretary of my imagination.
I love birthdays!
Good thing there is possibly a billion kids in my family, we get to party all the time.
Happy Birthday Bonnie!!!

Party food. The best ever.

Eloise is the sweetest little girl in the world.

 Teasing the baby.

Grandma Bagley. One of my favorite people with one of my other favorite people.

The girl tears into her presents... like... like... a lion with a sweet tooth on a bubblegum flavored gazelle. With marzipan teeth. I could keep going.

 Sticky notes... oh yeah.

Angry cake consumption.

Ehhh. Photo bomb. Probably the best one ever.

Joseph and the kitten. Kitten with mittens. Mitten kitten.

 I love parties.
I love everything in black and white.

6lbs and 11oz

Welcome to the World, Eloise Marie Rassmussen.
May 22, 2012 is your day, forever and always.

Oh Eloise, Dear first born of my little sister, Dear Bonnie's littIe girl,
already love you, more than words can say. From the tips of your pink toes to the fluff on your head, I love you!
(Photos from my phone and Madame Denise H's Instagram)

The Family: Bonnie, Jordan, and Eloise!

The aunties - at least some of them! Kate and ME, Claire VBH
OH, and Chris' hand snuck in.

Very serious aunties. Deadly serious.

A natural. I'm great.

Baby crazy?

Father % Daughter time + Innapropriate photo bomb.

Baby heads scare me. As do peaches. Other soft things that should come with a helmet.

Yum yum, new baby.... Look at this dynamo duo.

P.S.
E, I hope you got my post card from Berlin.

Isn't Meredith Nickle a lovely girl? I need to thank her for holding her breath so long.
(I love me some GoPro Hero... Now I just need to learn how to upload this film on Youtube in a better quality. Ugh. Teach me something, will yeah?)

Clearly Obsessed: pretty things in black and white

I usually make "Things that I love" lists on Sundays... but it's been a long time. I need to start doing that more regularly. But for now, here, today, here is my visual version, in black and white.

A Collection of Beauties...

Another favorite book of mine is A Collection of Beauties at the Height of Their Popularity, written by the great Whitney Otto.
(You should really read this book. We need more to talk about.)
p.s. I took this photo... I'm trying to use my lovely camera more often these days.

Buy these flashlights. Just do it.

Any vintage lover in the house? I am selling some retro flashlights on Ebay, and now I'm doing the obligatory dance of getting the buzz out. "Photos?" You may ask. And of course I'll answer - "Why, yes! I DO have the best looking flashlight-children in the West!"
