Monster Mash #5
TONIGHT: Learning French via Pimsleur and becoming deeply involved in vintage Japanese movie-monsters. Kaiju Eiga/Modern Fred is knocking my socks off. TRES BIEN. I highly support giving this person your money... I am looking into getting Chris a poster of one of Modern Fred's awesome designs. Cross your fingers.

Kathryn Cartwright, Dancer. Part 2
Part TWO of my photoshoot with my good dancer friend Kathryn C.
(Miss you, girl.)
Getting her Rockabilly on.
Her effects. The things that make Kathryn Kathryn .
Don't forget the other side. More things that make Kathryn Kathryn .
The shadows were having such a party this time of day.
A welcome change from all the jumping and spinning of the day.
Kathryn loves life. She does.
Despite the curveballs life throws at her. I always found her laughing, talking, and overall enjoying what she was doing (even if it was teasing or being teased, gossiping, complaining (prettily) or wrapping her toes up after a long exhausting day of working the dance floor).
I really hope I somehow manage to catch a glimpse of her lovable happy essence through these photos.
Monster Mash #3
Part of your balanced monster mash diet, with all the sweet toothachey morbidness one needs to stay awake for 72 hours straight.
But don't forget this particularly delicious trio:
Ingesting monstrous cold cereal would definitely up my game.
The question is... do they still make it?
Where could I find it?
One thousand house points to Gryffindor
if someone tracks it down for me.

Nieces. Nices. Nieces.
Madison Kate is growing up.
Quickly.
We did a little photoshoot to commemorate her 8th birthday...
last spring...
the point is that I am posting them now, and I adore this little lady.
She is smart as a whip and beautiful to boot.
I am so happy that she is in my family!
I HAD to get a close up of those freckles.
Oh, those freckles. I'm jealous to the core of anyone with freckles.
Using our skills in covert operations, we semi-successfully tip-toed up to a nest of deer...
They rolled their big doe eyes at us and moved to find a more private area to hold their knitting club/Texas Hold Em/sewing circle.
P.S. Congratulations of the new little sister, Miss Madison!
And Happy Birthday, Miss Emmarie Claire.

Monster Mash #1
I just couldn't break tradition, despite the lull in my bloggington habits. Cheers to my favorite month, my favorite holiday, and all that is spooky, creepy, and macabre (this is by far one of my favorite words).
DO THE MASH.
