Mock Prom 2014 "Romance Under The Sea"

I finally got around to going through the photos from the 30th bday party this last August. I have a truck-load of superlatives for my amazing family, and super awesome friends. They helped me pull this party together, and it looked FABULOUS. Give these people crepe paper and THEY. WILL. WORK. I love being 30 (don't forget the motto of turning dirty 30: thirty, flirty, and thriving!) and I hope that I am never one of these people who claim younger ages or wish I still had my youth or blah blah blah. I like being me, because I am the prom queen of my life and I am going to be young till I die (asleep at age 110, holding my tennis racket - I pick up the sport in my 80's, and my Euro-trash 73 year old lover, because I like them young, into terrible music, and with accents, but mostly because Chris keeps telling me he's going first because "STATISTICS SHOW THAT MEN DIE FIRST NA-NA-NA-NA-NAAA". I don't buy it.)

Hello, 30. This is going to be fun.

Of course, I was Prom Queen. Duh.

I took my mom to Prom! She is the best person in the world.

Happy Birthday Bonnie Boo

May 26th- mark it, secretary of my imagination.
I love birthdays!
Good thing there is possibly a billion kids in my family, we get to party all the time.
Happy Birthday Bonnie!!!

Party food. The best ever.

Eloise is the sweetest little girl in the world.

 Teasing the baby.

Grandma Bagley. One of my favorite people with one of my other favorite people.

The girl tears into her presents... like... like... a lion with a sweet tooth on a bubblegum flavored gazelle. With marzipan teeth. I could keep going.

 Sticky notes... oh yeah.

Angry cake consumption.

Ehhh. Photo bomb. Probably the best one ever.

Joseph and the kitten. Kitten with mittens. Mitten kitten.

 I love parties.
I love everything in black and white.

Neon and ticket stubs and rental rollerblades

I'm very very very behind in posting photos. I blame the lack of fbook, the weather, the government, and WWII. I blame everything but myself. There. Now I feel better.
As I didn't have my skates with me, but I DID have my camera, I ended up documenting the neon and coin-operated-ticket-distributing games (one day I WILL win that switchblade comb and kazoo) and making Katie B act as a pin-up girl for the majority of the frivolity.

I think I want to have my own nature show one day, with voice overs by some James Earl Jonesy type. . . but instead of nature, I'll document hip birthday parties... but only if I am allowed to attach wheels to my feet.
