My family is, like, really pretty: Erin H. (part two)

Dear Erin,
You are beautiful.
Thanks for letting me drag you through the woods, in knee deep snow, like some sort of ill-prepared pioneers, with good hair. And iPhones. Annnnyways... you are great.
xoxo.

My family is, like, really pretty: Erin H. (part one)

Once upon a time I took photos of Erin, and I FINALLY finished editing them.
And so, to honor Miss Erin's angelic patience, I am going to blog a few different posts honoring her and her photogenic mug. Here's to pretty girls, and adorable winter layers (because girls look to cutest in adorable winter layers).

OHMYGOSHjustsnowalready.

Once upon a time, Christmas 2009, Santa brought me a very nice camera.
So of course, I spent the regulated amount of time taking photos of myself in the mirror.
We all go through this phase.

Winter 2009-2010 was glorious. Do you remember snow? SNOW.

Do you remember wearing flats even when there was snow?
Smart girl.
Look how cold these feet were/are. They look like orphan feet. The kind of orphan feet attached to The Little Match Girl.

I seriously need to start taking more pictures.

Lace me up.

Every year, after winter/Christmas/holidays are over, I always have a feeling of slight regret. I never really gave myself a chance to enjoy that time of year. Forget skiing, sledding, drinking hot cocoa by a fire while listening to carols played by hammer dulcimer, making snow angels, and ice skating. I simply... got busy. I had to work. I never had the money. Etc. I completely got stuck in a pattern of being a "grown up". This is my vow, as the holidays are in full swing: I WILL ENJOY MY WINTER. Starting with the ice skating. As soon as this semester is over (DEC 9 = LAST DAY OF CLASSES. WOOT.) I am going to the Gallivan Center outdoor ice skating rink, and shooshing around till i can't feel my toes.
Who's with me?
